A flag parade is the ceremonial raising or lowering of a flag as part of a military ceremony. a flag parade can be held at the Lord or the Navy. A distinction is made between the major and minor flag parades.
Flag parades are often part of diplomatic protocol during state visits, among other things, but they are also an everyday part of military duty. However, this only applies to the small flag parade. The large flag parade requires a separate order e.g. in the Lord or Air Force at least the order of a general and is carried out only on special occasions. The small flag parade is used much more often.
As in most other countries, in German barracks as well as on military manned warships, the federal service flag is raised in the morning and lowered in the evening. And also in the Österreichischen Marine there were flag parades until your dissolution at the end of the First World War.
